A five-day study trip from Fjaler to Oslo, meeting with the Rotary Club of Oslo, the Bellona Foundation and Sensorita. We look at how Norway responds to fjord pollution and waste-management challenges — and how models like Bellona's Oslofjorden restoration can be adapted for Sognefjorden, where researchers have found unexpectedly high mercury levels.
What we're aiming to ship
- A Nordic Sustainability Toolkit — regional environmental challenges, existing Norwegian solutions, and practical strategies for rural fjord communities
- A new partnership between the Rotary Club of Oslo and the Bellona Foundation — opened up for future RCN cohorts to build on
